I picked weaving because it was something that I have never done before and I liked doing something new. I was drawn to the fact that you could use the yarn and create a picture, shapes, or just use different colors in lines.
The most challenging part of the project was working for the whole class period because you had to constantly weave the yarn back and forth. After a half-an-hour/forty-five minutes, I had to sit there and just take a break from staring at the string and yarn.
I think that it turned out very successfully. I think that it looks really close to what I had thought it would look like but if I did it again I would change some of the colors. I really like how the tan goes to brown, then to white and, then to light blue. I wish that I had used a different middle blue color though so that it would transition better from light blue to dark blue.
